Welcome to Cool Dads™, a series in which our resident cool dad, Nick Grant, helps us all get dressed.
As much as it pains me to admit, my wife and I are getting *takes an ominous gulp, followed by a sigh that kills me* old. Nonetheless, there is one thing that makes us feel forever young: concerts. Summer time and live music are a truly perfect combination, and it gives us a chance to let our hair down (OK shut up she let’s her hair down, I don’t have any) and get loose as a little treat to ourselves. And while my wife doesn’t have to try hard to look good and young because she’s a goddamn goddess and I hate her for it, I at least need to not look like I’m a narc about to call the cops on some young punks tokin’ the grass.
Outdoor concerts are our go-to, so I make sure I am in attire that allows me to move easy; strictly tees and shorts – albeit ones that have a little personal flair (literally, I added a patch to ’em). I feel like it’s in the handbook that you must have some sort of tie-dye on your person whilst attending an outdoor concert, right? And lastly, a ring that fully encapsulates my life, which I’m only endorsing this evening as I drunkenly belt out Beyonce ballads on the walk back to the hotel from the stadium.
