Every time I hear or see the word “professor,” I always think of the sample in that one Beastie Boys song that goes, “Professor, what’s another word for pirate’s treasure? Why I think it’s booty.” Of course, these slim-fit, soft-shouldered, Portuguese-made, 100% cotton Herringbone Tweed Jackets from Diniz and Cruz don’t have the word professor in their name. But, they are very professorial in appearance, as most tweed jackets tend to be, and that alone was enough to get the song playing in my in head. Now I gotta go listen to it, or else I’ll be humming it for the rest of the day.
